Quick Start
Download & Install
Windows
- Download the latest installer (
.msior.exe) from the releases page - Double-click the installer and follow the wizard
- Launch MyShell Terminal from the Start Menu
MyShell Terminal supports Windows 10 (1903+) and Windows 11.

First Steps
1. Add a Server
Click the + button in the left sidebar:
- Host: IP address or domain name
- Port: SSH port (default 22)
- Username: Login username
- Authentication: Password or SSH key
2. Connect
Double-click a server card to establish an SSH connection. The terminal opens in a new tab automatically.
3. Manage Files
After connecting, click the folder icon in the toolbar to open the SFTP File Manager:
- Browse, upload, and download files
- Create, rename, delete files and directories
- Modify file permissions
4. Server-to-Server Transfer
Use SFXP to transfer files directly between servers:
- Open the SFXP panel
- Select source file and target path
- Click transfer — files move directly between servers
