RDP Remote Desktop
Connect to Windows servers over Remote Desktop (RDP) without leaving MyShell Terminal.
Adding an RDP Server
Create a new server and choose Windows as the server type. Sensible RDP defaults are applied automatically:

Adjust either value if your server differs.
Connecting
Double-click the server entry to connect. MyShell Terminal launches the built-in Windows RDP client with a pre-generated connection configuration, so the session opens with the right settings every time.
Connection Options
Fine-tune how the remote desktop opens:

Connecting Through a Proxy
Windows servers on an internal network can be reached through a proxy tunnel:
- RDP connections reuse the proxy settings already configured in MyShell Terminal
- No extra tunnel software or network changes are needed on your side

No Leftovers
Temporary connection config files are cleaned up automatically after each disconnect — no sensitive data is left on disk.
