System Monitoring
After connecting, MyShell Terminal automatically displays real-time system monitoring.
Metrics
CPU
- Usage graph: real-time CPU percentage
- Core count: logical CPU cores
- Load average: 1/5/15 minute averages
Memory
- Usage: used/total/available
- Cache: includes Buffers and Cache
- Swap: swap partition usage
Network
- Real-time speed: RX/TX rates (auto-unit KB/s, MB/s)
- Speed graph: last 60 seconds trend
- Interface selector: switch between network interfaces
Click the network card to expand connection details:
- All listening ports
- External connections and IP distribution per port
- Real-time upload/download speed per port
- Optional IP geolocation lookup
Disk
- Mount point capacity usage
- Used space, available space, percentage
Process Management
Click the CPU card to expand the process list:
- Sort by CPU or memory
- PID, command name, resource usage
- Search and filter
CPU Details & Server IPs
Click the CPU label to expand CPU details:
- Full CPU model name
- Physical cores and threads per socket — multi-socket servers are listed one by one
CPU static information is collected once per connection, adding no recurring load on the server.
Server IPs
The server IP row lists all addresses of the server:
- Use the dropdown to switch among multiple IPs
- Hover a row to copy the address
- Mask any IP (e.g.
10.0.0.*.*) for privacy when sharing screenshots
Auto-Refresh
Monitoring data refreshes every 3 seconds by default. Click the refresh button to pause/resume.
