System Monitoring

Purpose

View CPU, memory, swap, disk, network-interface, and process summaries after connecting to a server.

Entry

Connect over SSH and open the system monitoring panel on the right. Select the network area for a connection overview.

Steps

• Review CPU usage, core count and load, memory and swap, disk capacity, and network rates.
• Select the CPU, network, or process area for more detail from the current sample.
• Use the refresh control to pause or resume updates. Network details can be stopped separately.

Know Before You Use It

• Data comes from server samples. The remote system, SSH session environment, and account permissions determine what is visible; some metrics may be unavailable or need warm-up.
• Samples are periodic estimates, not a complete traffic ledger, complete process list, or security audit.
• Monitoring uses some server and network resources. Latency and remote load can delay updates.

Failure Handling and Safety

If data is blank or stale, check the SSH connection, account permissions, and server load, then refresh manually. Check screenshots for hostnames, usernames, and other sensitive information before sharing them.
