Network Tools

MyShell Terminal includes common network diagnostic tools — no need to memorize complex commands.

Opening

Click the tools icon in the sidebar, or search "Network Tools" in the command palette.

Available Tools

Port Scanner

Scan target host for open ports:

• Specify port range (e.g., 1-1000)
• Common port presets
• Shows port status and service name

Ping

Test network connectivity:

• Shows latency (RTT)
• Continuous ping support
• Packet loss statistics

TCP Speed Test

Test network bandwidth between hosts:

• Built-in speed test protocol
• Real-time upload/download speed
• Multi-connection concurrent test

DNS Query

Query DNS records:

• A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT record types
• Specify custom DNS server

Bandwidth Test

Test server network throughput.
